Danick Bumba

Daniko Kitsissa Bumba, artistically known as Danick Bumba, was born in 1997 and is a talented Angolan visual artist. With a degree in Mining Engineering from Agostinho Neto University, Danick was also a foreign language teacher, teaching French and English.

Danick Bumba currently dedicates himself to art, working as an artist, curator and artistic producer. Specializing in realistic and hyper-realistic drawings and paintings, in 2019 he founded the social project “Ateliê Belnique”, with the mission of training young visual artists, promoting the appreciation of art among Angolan youth, and disseminating the artistic language to all layers of society. The project's mantra is “Art is Our Language and the World is Our Family”.

Danick Bumba is a member of the National Union of Plastic Artists (UNAP) and was once a member of the Brigade of Young Plastic Artists (BJAP). He lives and works in Luanda, Angola.
